Hunter College in New York City is reworking its “Palestine Studies” professorship position New York Governor Kathy Hochul Instructed City University of New York (CUNY) to form a college to adjudicate anti-Semitism concerns.

The post goes on to explain that the faculty’s responsibilities will involve “research, teaching and services to departments and universities.”
“Governor Hawkel has directed CUNY to delete the post immediately and to thoroughly review the position to ensure that anti-Semitism is not promoted in the classroom,” the governor’s spokesman told the New York Post. “The governor continues to strongly condemn all forms of anti-Semitism and makes it clear that any form of hateful speech has no status anywhere in CUNY or New York State.”
