Senior democratic strategist James Carville predicts others in his party will follow California Gov. Gavin Newsom When opposing trans athletes to participate in women’s sports.
Newsom made headlines earlier this month as his hub opposed biomases participating in the women’s movement, calling it “very unfair” in a podcast conversation with Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
“I think that’s what most Americans think,” Cavill responded in an interview Fox News Numbers.
“I’m not that big with national track and field, but sports managers can figure it out,” he continued. “It’s not a major issue for me, we’ve taken a lot of water for something we won’t be able to do. [address]. ”

A New York Times poll in January found Nearly 80% of Americans Anti-biological males in the women’s movement, including 67% of Democrats.
Cavill alerted the unwelcome position that democratic officials accepted on the issue.

“If you think the problem is important, then you can convince people,” Cavill said. “They tell people we have to be brave and do it for it. Why don’t you change public opinion and win elections, and then you might be able to achieve your goals? But now, the public doesn’t want it. And you want Democrats to do that. And everything you do – they won’t change in the near term.

Although this is a rare 80-20 issue for Americans, Democrats are still advocating unpopular views. Earlier this month Senate Democrats block a bill This will prohibit trans athletes from participating in women’s sports.
But Cavill believes his party made a mistake without passing the lockdown bill.

“I think it’s a problem with the Athletic Association,” Cavill said. “Utah Governor, Rights, Governor Cox-They Give him an anti-deal sports bill. He said: “Look, I have 100,000 high school athletes in Utah. I have four of them trans. That’s not my problem. Someone said there are 50,000 female athletes in the NCAA, maybe six of them. [are transgender]. Let the NCAA figure it out. That’s not a problem with the state legislature. Let the Olympics handle it. ”
“I actually used to run a lot. So I looked at the NCAA track meeting. I never thought about it! It didn’t cross my mind. I don’t think it was a legislative solution… It wasn’t a legislative problem. It was a problem with the association. We don’t need to compromise the association’s ability to determine the rules of conformity in any sport,” he added.
