“The clinical condition of the Holy Father remains stable, confirming the progress last week,” a medical notice from the Vatican Holy Land Press Office said in a latest news on Saturday.
This is the first medical update in three days.
While working at Gemelli Hospital, the Pope was able to sign a three-year reform project aimed at making the church a more enthusiastic place.

The Vatican added that the Pope’s high-flow oxygen therapy continues, which gradually reduces his need for non-invasive mechanical ventilation at night and will help his lungs work more.
The announcement added: “The Holy Father still needs medical therapy, exercise and respiratory physiotherapy in the hospital.”
Francis was first admitted to the hospital on February 14 after a week-long battle against bronchitis gradually worsened, and eventually turned into double pneumonia.
His health has improved significantly this week, with the Vatican saying he is now “out of danger of death.”
The 88-year-old spent some time on Wednesday after mental exercise In the Vatican, Receive the Eucharist, pray and complete physical therapy.
This week marks the 12th anniversary of the pope’s election Roman Catholic Church.
The Pope’s condition is complicated because he removed part of his lungs as a child after a lung infection.
Tuesday’s chest x-ray confirmed the progress medical staff had observed in the previous days, but his situation remains “complex”, meaning he will have to spend more time in the hospital.
