Multiple co-hosts of “View” express permanent support for comedian and former “View” host Rosie O’Donnell Move to Irelandsaid it was a fair response to Donald Trump’s tenure as U.S. president.
On Friday’s ABC daytime talk show, co-hosts Ana Navarro and sunny Hostin defended O’Donnell’s decision, noting that America is becoming a tough place for people like her.
Hosting said the United States “does not seem to be useful for everyone”, suggesting that O’Donnell’s freedom is somewhat threatened by a second Trump term.

In a recent Tiktok video, the celebrity cleaned her new home and said, “I have to say it’s so good. People have been so loving, so kind and enthusiastic. I’m so grateful.”
The gay comedian added that she moved to Trump’s inauguration on January 15 five days before her inauguration.
“Although I’m a person who never thought of moving to another country, that’s what I decided to be the best for myself and my 12-year-old,” she said, who has been gaining Irish citizenship.
O’Donnell and Trump have been involved in a dispute since 2006 as she criticized his leniency against the Miss America winner, a man who has been accused of drug use and other bad behaviors.

Trump’s response was to slam her as a “real loser” and the two have been in opposition since then. O’Donel will eventually describe getting “the most bullying behavior of my life” since they began their hatred and oppose Trump’s political career at every step.
Navarro said O’Donnell was right to leave given the treatment she received from Trump over the years, and Trump represented a threat when Trump allegedly took office again.
“But I do know if you’re Rosie O’Donnell, who he hates and – in fairness, she hates him, it’s mutual – and you are listening to him threaten Liz Cheney, and you’re looking at him go after law firms, and you are listening to him saying he’s coming back to be the retribution, and you know how ruthless and vicious he is, and that he personally hates you, and you have a 12-year-old with special needs… then you make the hard decision of leaving.
“It’s good for her,” Navarro added. “She fought for her life. She put herself first. I’m very supportive.”

“I do think it’s important to remember that the United States is bigger than the president,” she said.
Griffin later added: “This country is bigger than who has been in four years.” “I just think it’s important to remember – there are places where I can’t get IVF treatment in Europe. Together with Navarro, Hostin pushed back, “This is a young democracy that doesn’t seem to work at the moment.”
“I believe in the United States that Donald Trump ruined it more than Donald Trump could do,” Griffin interjected.
Hostin argued that leaving the country was a “privilege” for O’Donnell because the country “does not work for her family, and she is one of the few who can hide her life and move it somewhere.
“Most of us are trapped here,” the co-host added.
