In a suspension notice to the family, the principal of Mulanlands High School said the student “painted his black face in football”, which constituted an “offensive comment.”
However, the school agreed in a February settlement after the student’s family filed a lawsuit to permanently eliminate the suspension on JA’s record.
“He had a fun, wonderful night without any trouble,” The student’s father said When an event occurs.
