Three people were shot and killed outside a motor vehicle office in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday, according to police.
The Louisville Metro Police Department (MPD) said the shooting occurred at the driver’s license branch in the 6200 block of Willismore.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a man shot dead in the parking lot.

The MPD said in a statement that two women were found to have gunshot wounds and were transported to a nearby hospital but later succumbed to their injuries.
Major Donald Boeckman of the Louisville Metropolitan Police Department told reporters there is no ongoing threat to the public.
Boeckman said the suspect or suspect stayed in the car. Boeckman has no description of the vehicle and says investigators are still reviewing surveillance videos.

“It was definitely a tragedy, and to my surprise, no more people were hurt,” Boeckman said.
It is not clear what caused the shooting.
