Two small earthquakes rocked the Malibu region on Friday and Saturday, followed by another in the Inland Empire.
The first Malibu earthquake was reportedly registered at around 11:44 on Friday evening and was registered at 3.7 magnitude with an epicenter of about 6.8 miles. At 6:30 a.m. Saturday, the second earthquake was measured at magnitude 3.5, roughly in the same area. Residents in Ventura County were shocked, and the shaking triggered some car alerts.
The third earthquake measured at magnitude 3.5 is Record Saturday at 2:16 p.m. near San Jacinto Mountain in Riverside County, the center a few miles south of Idyllwild.
There are no reports of earthquake damage.
